People are destroyed from a lack of education

I walked into the typical Saint Louis Board meeting on June 5th. There were television cameras, authors, reporters, teachers, union laborers, and concerned students.

The 2006-2007 academic year has been remarkably successful for graduating seniors at Soldan International Studies High School. By mid-April, nearly 75% of them had offers of admission from various colleges and universities, many with prestigious scholarships.

Shayna Burns is a student at Sumner's 9th Grade Center. She was elected by her peers to represent them as the President of the Student Government. Shayna is very involved in the whole process of education where she believes that students have concerns that should be heard.
